Thx Julian. Yes, it was a journey but it was worth the work as it is special.
I don't think the language was an issue as all the guys and gals there were so nice and willing to accommodate. Besides, it's HOW you speak rather than WHAT you say that makes a difference. I guess given the situation, a smile and simple Hello, could get you the right results!

Hey Nakata, finally got to read your First Time post.
Interesting and yes, it is a marathon in more than one way for you. Am sure the build up in anxiety over all this time and finally even during your first time is unforgettable, but I am glad and happy you made it into the club - I am still running my first marathon as I missed a call about 3 weeks ago.
Hope for the opportunity and privilege to meet you and others soon. But wow! 35 people sounds like some school reunion.
