Browse in Translation Mode
Rather than copying and pasting everything into Google translate, it is best to read the site through a translator.
That immediately makes the forum much easier to navigate and also solves problems such as incorrect pasting of Chinese characters.

It is not possible to browse the site through google translate while logged into SnB.
Therefore you need to set your browser up to translate automatically.
On desktop, download the Google translate plugin for your browser,
you can then choose whether to view in original or translated mode.
On your phone, download Google Chrome and you can select translation in the app Settings.
Safari doesn't have a translation option (yet), but it is coming in the next version later this year.

Which translator is best?
As you may have noticed this is only a partial solution, as the translations are far from perfect.
It is like reading through a hazy mist and the odd references to the Altar and Lebanon,
as well as various goddesses, can give it a strangely biblical feel at times.

The best translators I found are:

1)Google Translate
2) Microsoft Translator
3) Baidu Translate (Baidu Fanyi)

They are pretty similar, sometimes one is better and sometimes another, depending on the text.
Microsoft actually has a Cantonese option (make sure you choose that and not traditional Chinese),
while Baidu sometimes gives more natural translations. However,
on average I found them pretty similar and have stuck with Google for convenience as the plug-in works well with Google chrome.

Common mis-translations (please feel free to add)

"Salty and wet" (鹹濕)-  horny
"the altar" (壇) - the forum/chatroom
"Lebannon" (嚟)- ignore (mistranslation of a common gramatical partical)
"Li" - same as Lebannon
"Li-qing"  (嚟傾偈)- come and chat

If you can read some Chinese (e.g. overseas Chinese or non-Cantonese)
The app Plecodict has a great set of Cantonese dictionaries and a built in web browser.
Just tap the word or phrase giving you trouble and a translation will pop up.
For someone with a reasonable degree of fluency,
but difficulty reading Cantonese (e.g. overseas Chinese or non-Cantonese Chinese) that could be a good solution.

Part of the problem is that the forum doesn't support certain Cantonese characters,
so people write a similar sounding character without the mouth 口part ,
which causes google to mistranslate - e.g. 壇傳左 translates as 'the altar turned left' instead of 'the forum changed'.
